Refund policy

Software extensions sold on idealpc.ch – version of 10 October 2026

1. Try before you buy

Every extension has a live demo and full documentation. Please take the time to check that it meets your needs before buying; if in doubt, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., we are happy to answer before you order.

2. Digital content delivered immediately

The extensions are digital content available for download as soon as payment is made. When ordering, you expressly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download has started. As the extensions are distributed under the GPL licence, they remain usable after a refund: a simple change of mind after download is therefore not grounds for a refund.

3. When we refund

  • Extension not downloaded: full refund on request within 14 days of purchase, as long as the extension has not been downloaded.
  • Extension that does not work: if the extension does not work on a compatible setup (Joomla 4.4, 5 or 6, PHP 8.1 or later, YOOtheme Pro 4 or 5 for the elements) and we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time after you report it to support, we refund it in full. The request must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Duplicate purchase by mistake: the duplicate order is refunded.

Any mandatory rights granted to you by the law of your country remain unaffected.

4. How to request a refund

  • Purchases by card or on invoice: email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your order number and a description of the problem. If the refund is granted, we make it to the payment method used (by bank transfer for purchases on invoice).
  • Purchases outside Switzerland (sold through Link, a Stripe service, which acts as reseller – Merchant of Record): you can also send your request to Link support. Any VAT paid is refunded together with the price.

5. Timing and method

Refunds are made to the original payment method (or by bank transfer for purchases on invoice), normally within 14 days of the request being accepted. The licence key and access to updates are then deactivated.
